I know the numb feeling well myself. My father died two months ago, and I've been mostly numb ever since. Not that I adored him. He was a hard taskmaster, grumpy most of the time, and not easy to be around. Still, I wish he'd even once told me that I had done well at any task I ever did, but that simply wasn't in him I guess.

This is my life right now. It's really ironic reading this the same instant it's happening to me. I do not know how to react. I'm numb and my hands are weak so I totally understand how this guy is feeling.

Can someone out there confirm that most antidepressants are dispensed as pills, which are hard to grind to soluble dust?
I grant that the effect is real, as many women on Lexapro have found, but its administration has to be subtle.

I ve been searching this sub and almost all the replies are saying they feel numb and like zombies etc. I also read a study that included a survey which said 70% of participants said they feel numb. I want to take Lexapro for anxiety but I don t think feeling numb would be worth it for me.
